Whether you are a young family wanting to know what’s going on and where essential services are, to the elderly and retired who simply want to keep in touch with the rest of the community and follow the news of the village. CORONAVIRUS – The Parish Council meetings for April, May and June 2020 were cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meetings from July 2020 will be held via Zoom until such time as regulations change to allow for in-person meetings to resume.

Stisted Village
Located North East of Braintree, Stisted is populated by around 600 people. Stisted has a village school, post office, two local pubs, village hall, allotments and is home to many small businesses. This is a real community with a good mix of young families and older residents. There is a playing field with activities for all ages including an obstacle course, table tennis, swings and climbing frames. In 2017, a pavilion was built to support the village football & rounders’ teams. It can also be hired / used for other events.
Nearby, you will find Braintree Golf Course, Stisted Hall, and many country walks through open fields and woodlands.
