Our village is extremely fortunate to have two mini bus services. One is operated by Braintree District Council (Wednesdays) and the other, which is operated by volunteers, runs every fortnight on a Saturday.
Wednesday – From January 2022
Leaving the Montefiore Institute (opposite The Onley PH and restaurant) at 9.30am, arriving at Braintree Bus Park at approx 9.45am, then on to Freeport by request. It departs Braintree Bus Park (Stand 9) at 12 noon arriving back in Stisted at approx 12.15pm. Tickets are £4.00 return (no singles), Senior Citizen bus passes accepted.
Saturday – NOT IN SERVICE AT THIS TIME
Leaving the Montefiore Institute at 9.30am, the bus goes to Tesco Marks Farm, then onto Braintree Sainsbury’s Car Park arriving at 9.45am. It departs from Sainsbury’s at 11.30am arriving back at the Montefiore Institute at 11.45am. Tickets are £4.00 return (no singles), Senior Citizen bus passes accepted.
