Residents and businesses from across the whole of Braintree district are invited to find out more about crime and community safety in the district at a public meeting hosted by Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Roger Hirst. Attendees will also have the opportunity to put their questions and concerns to a panel of experts. The meeting will take place at Braintree Town Hall, Fairfield Road, Braintree, CM7 3YG on Wednesday 22nd November from 7pm to 8pm and all residents of Braintree district, including people who live in Halstead and Witham and surrounding areas, are invited. CANS (climate and nature for Stisted) are holding an informal event on 11th November and everyone in the village is invited – in the village hall from 6pm to 11pm. There will be a guest speaker – Alex Stevenson from Jordans Farm rewilding project will be speaking at 8pm

Each year the Parish Council will consider applications for grants from organisations that work for the benefit of the local community of Stisted Parish. Only one application for a grant per group/organisation is allowed in any one financial year (1st April to 31st March) and applications should be sent to the Parish Clerk at Stistedparishclerk@yahoo.co.uk.
